December means it’s time for jpeg2RAW’s Best of the Year Photo Contest!  This is where we actually offer prizes for the winners and end up blowing a lot of our Amazon Affiliate money

How to enter:

There are 2 ways to enter


  • See the full set of rules here –
  • Entry must be received by midnight January 7th (image must be taken in 2015)
  • Image must have been taken during 2015 by you and you hold the copyright
  • One entry per person
  • Image must be either in JPEG or PNG format – suggested size is 2048px on the short end, minimum size of 1920px on the long end
  • Rules are subject to change

AND, two random people who entered will be selected to win a copy of Lumenzia from Greg Benz (~$40 value – each).

  • Monthly Challenge admins will review all submitted images and narrow them down to the top 6
  • Top 6 images will be reviewed and judged in the following categories:
    • Technical (focus, lighting, etc)
    • Emotion
    • Composition
    • Creativity/Originality
    • Overall
  • A panel of “celebrity” judges will rank each image on a scale of 1-10 using the above categories.  The panel for the Best of 2015 Contest is:
