Recently went on a waterfall photography course. This photo was from the following day and is a big change from how I would have normally photographed them. This one is Lower Kalimna Falls 3hrs from home. Canon 5D, 2sec exposure, f/8.0, ISO 100, ND filter + tripod. Edited first in LR then Luminar.
I have always thought taking photos of random people could be interesting yet scary if they notice and don't like it. Flint, MI has an event every September called "Bikes on the Bricks". I noticed this woman sitting back on her bike doing her own people watching and couldn't resist taking her photo.
My first and only night in LA area on only a couple hours of sleep I had the bright idea to head into downtown LA to capture some light trails. This is an HDR shot processed in Aurora
This was shot in full on bright morning sun birds are my main subjects in the urban area where I live they make for great practice for those special times when I can get away to areas with better Wildlife /Nature since every day off starts with a 2 to 4 mile photo walk /dog walk As the seasons and Wisconsin weather changes the light and shooting situations can change daily forcing me to adapt to the environment specs 7Dmk2 canon 100-400 mk2 w/1.4 extender mk3 (560 mm 400 ISO f8 Shutter 1/664 ) on a very windy day — at Pike River Pathway.

GrapesThese grapes are known in Bulgaria as - Viola. I think it is related to Italian sort - Prunesta. It is very delicious, but I prefer it as wine. Why I took this image - well at the end of this month we will gather the grapes to produce wine, so I thought it will be a nice addition to my images to have some more grape shots. The image is taken with Nikon D7200 with kit lens (18-140) and processed with Photoshop (I had to clone out lots of spots from the grapes)
This a photograph of a recent shoot for a mid-century modern home in Memphis, TN, designed by Francis Mah that I shot for the selling homeonwers. Every room of this house was unique, including the master bath that had pepto bismol pink floor tile and irridescent black wall tile. This was shot on a Nikon D7200 with a Sigma 10-20 mm lens. ISO 100, F 7.1, and 5 different shutter speeds. I use Photomatix to blend the images, and then a preset that I have created to tweak in Lightroom. Never want to be untruthful with edits on a home, but adjusting lighting is always a good idea. Thanks for checking it out! Chris — at Memphis, TN.
I woke up this AM to a GIANT (like this thing could catch my dog in it) Spider web on my deck. It was shimmering in the morning sun with dew drops all over it. I first checked to see if there was a 6'7" spider who lived in it... Once I saw he wasn't home.. I grabbed my camera and capture this... I got to admit its beautiful in the sun... but I hope the spider moved along to a mansion far far away from my house! EEEPS

Red RoseI took this image in the morning. The light was very nice and this rose did catch my attention. I took 5 shots focused on different places on the rose and then focus stacked them in order to get more details. I processed it with Photoshop and Lumenzia i order to get this red color (I wanted it to be not so saturated, but yet to show the beauty of this flower). Taken with Nikon D7200 kit lens 18-140 with 4x macro filter. 1/40 sec at f/11 ISO 200
Leaf Bottle RocksA tiny empty glass bottle, three decaying leaves, and three lake stones on a wooden table. This was photographed with a single speedlight flash camera left, fitted with a homemade diffuser to soften the harsh light. Processed in Lightroom and Photoshop. My goal here was to just have fun and test out my new flashes and homemade diffuser. I also wanted to see if I could create a look like Harold Ross without the light painting.Nikon D700, 50mm lens, ISO 100, 1/200, f/4.Copyright 2018 Scott Norris Photography scottnorrisphotography.com
I took this for the prompt "signs of Fall" for my 365 project. I LOVE Fall but it has come far too quickly this year!
Taken with an infrared converted camera of the Mission San Juan Capistrano. It was a sunny day with hardly a cloud in the sky so I took out my converted Sony A6000 with the SEL16f28 lens and VCL-ECU2 ultra wide adapter. Settings at ISO100, f9 and 1/125s. — at Mission San Juan Capistrano, CA.
While on my annual trip to NYC on 9/11 I remembered these railings that have various phrases on them. Low clouds were muting the tribute lights so after a crowd moved on I turned to the Brooklyn Bridge and did a little light painting on various words along the fence.

I felt that I was not photographing enough portraitures so I went to a Civil War Reenactment in our area. I might have stepped down too much that I haven't blurred the background enough. Anyway, I love the way she look engrossed in her own world under a tree. Vignette was applied at post. Taken with the Sony A7rii and SEL85f14gm lens at ISO100, f3.5 and 1/125s. Flash was used. — at Huntington Central Park.
