The quiet before the storm on Lake Michigan , Loved the way the lake was so calm and took on a green tone . The old broken pier just seems to go on forever

Leaves in waterAutumn is almost over here in North-West Bulgaria. On my last trip to my village I stopped to a nearby place in order to take some shots. There was this small water pond and some leaves that have fallen in it. The contrast and colors caught my attention, because the leaves were yellow and orange and the water was blueish from the reflected light. I didn't have much time to get the tripod, so I shot handheld.Taken with Nikon D7200; 1/200sec at f/5.6 ISO 400; 85mm (18-140mm kit lens); Processed in Lightroom and Photoshop.

As I mentioned in the group I'm in the middle of buying/selling a house adn posted this image. I decided I may not get a chance to shoot again to enter before deadline. Everything is disorganized and even though I'm so busy, I was itching to shoot. No composites this time with Loki, one light set up. I wanted to present a mood to it, but not sure I quite reached it.
This photo was taken near the Grand Prismatic Spring in Yellowstone National Park. I was hoping to photograph the spring but it was hardly visible because it was a cold day and the steam was super thick. So I decided instead to shoot my friend walking along the boardwalk.
I was about a week late for peak foliage in Central Park but tried to make the most of what I was given. I just simply wanted to capture as much of the scene as possible without having to shoot it as a pano keeping the sky to a minimum since there were zero clouds. Bow Bridge is a classic shot of Central Park although you have to get there early to get it with no one on it.
